Djokovic won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Alcaraz, who is making his Olympics debut, is looking to extended his rich vein of form, which as seen him win Roland Garros and Wimbledon coming into the Olympics.

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, the top two seeds at the Paris 2024 Olympics men’s singles tennis tournament, will compete for the gold medal at the Roland Garros Stadium on Sunday.

The Serbian defeated 11th seed Lorenzo Musetti of Italy in the semi-finals 6-4, 6-2 to reach the men’s singles final for the first time in five attempts. He previously won bronze at Beijing 2008.
Novak Djokovic has played Carlos Alcaraz on six occasions, with both tennis players winning three each. This tally includes a win each in two matches on clay court.
A few weeks ago, Djokovic and Alcaraz faced each other in the Wimbledon men’s singles final, where the Spaniard emerged victorious in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, 7-6.
